Welcome to CLEAN MAMA – I’m so glad you’re here!  If you’re new here or just trying to acclimate yourself to the routine, let me first of all tell you that it’s okay to not have a cleaning routine and to feel overwhelmed with everyday life.  I’m here to help you sort it all out.  Clean Mama has been keeping this little corner of cyberspace clean since 2009 and it’s all with a simple little cleaning routine and a whole lot of grace.

Chances are you clicked on this page because you need some help getting started or you’re feeling overwhelmed and just plain don’t know where to start.  I’m going to keep this page as simple and straightforward as I can while pointing you in a couple places with more information if you need it.

What if I told you that you could spend just minutes a day on cleaning and homekeeping and you’d have a clean home all week long?  Those mundane tasks like laundry and loading the dishwasher will become part of your repertoire and daily routine and you’ll become one of those people that welcome visitors and guests. Keeping a house clean and tidy comes naturally for me and I love the practice of homekeeping.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed and don’t know where to start, forget everything you thought you knew about keeping a clean house.  Realize that it’s perfectly normal to loathe or resent cleaning.  This is because you’ve let it control your life and you’ve set it on a reactive mode instead of proactive and automatic.  Let’s change that!

A clean home (most of the time) starts with 5 daily cleaning tasks – these are things you learn to do that you set on autopilot and start completing without really thinking about it.  Trust me, it can happen.  My mantra is every day a little something and with that in mind, just doing SOMETHING every day is so helpful.

These tasks are the backbone of my cleaning routine.  It’s a system that you need to work through to see why it works.  Thousands of people all over the world complete Clean Mama’s Weekly Cleaning Routine every week – it’s so simple but it works in just about every situation because it has grace (and a day to catch up) built right in to the routine.  If you want to see what I use to clean my house with, check out my Cleaning Favs page.

I also give away lots of fun and helpful free printables – I also have a free monthly cleaning calendar on there every month and you’ll also see it as a blog post.  Need a couple more cleaning tasks?  You’ll find my rotating cleaning tasks on the free monthly calendar.

Now that you know a little bit about the backbone of Clean Mama – the Clean Mama Cleaning Routine, you might want to see what else I post about.  I post 3-4 times a week and I strive to make sure that every post is helpful, teaches something, and enriches your homekeeping. Here’s the latest blog post. Never miss a post by signing up below for posts and my monthly newsletter straight to your inbox.
